Beavers 28-7 Rebels

09.04.17 – A sunny and warm day with the temperatures in the 20c range.

A big thank you to Jason Smith for standing in on the umpiring as the Royals were unavailable.

With the Beavers playing Firstball last weekend they definitely had there batting eye in, and scored a lot of runs as a team, along with Joy, playing her first game. Well done. The Rebels had a few injuries to overcome and didn’t get the breaks the Beavers did.

Special mention goes to Michael Shelly and Jenny Page for some big and well-placed well placed hits.

Pitchers were Paul Cooper and Ant Tucker for the Beavers and Stewart Bullock for the Rebels.

A shorter day but great to play in this glorious weather.
