Indoor League
Indoor Softball is a version of slowpitch and it’s a great way to keep sharp and hone your skills while getting (or staying) fit in a fun and friendly environment once the regular season has finished.
league games are played on Sunday afternoons at Billborough Sports College. Teams dont take the league too seriously and use it mostly as friendly practice, which means its a great introduction to Softball if you’ve never played before, or a good way to keep playing over the winter months.
The game is played by two mixed-sex teams of eight players in a contained court with a pitcher pitching an underarm delivery to a batter.
However, unlike normal slowpitch softball, the aim of Indoor is to score points for the number of bases a batter reaches, while teams lose points when batters are out. This means that in some cases, a team can actually get a negative or minus score.
