Welcome to the East Midlands Softball League website.
The league runs a co-ed (mixed male/female team) softball league for players aged 14+ with people still playing into their 50’s and beyond. Teams consist of five males and five females with each team taking their turn to bat and then field and each game consisting of seven innings.
All abilities and experience levels are welcome, whether you’ve only just heard of softball or have been playing for years.
The league runs from April to September with the Firstball tournament opening the season and the famous EMSL Labor Day tournament in July.
Games are played on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings and afternoons. Teams are always looking for new players, so if your interested in playing use the ‘Teams’ link at the top of the page to find a find a team that trains on a day and in a location convenient for you and get in touch with them.
