Firstball
Teams from around the country travel to Loughborough for the annual EMSL Firstball tournament. The established tournament acts as a season opener for the local league teams as well as an opportunity for teams from all over to stretch their softballs limbs for the first time of the season.
Taking place at the University of Loughboroughs Charwood Colllege campus on Thorpe Hill the tournament has continued to grow year-on-year.
The Firstball tournament is a great opportunity for teams to introduce new players into the sport of softball as well as giving experienced players the opportunity to prepare themselves for the season ahead.
Spectators are always welcome at any EMSL event. Games take place from 9am to 6pm with 32 games on the day there will be plenty to see.
